As an articling student at LZW, Laura worked on countless debtor/creditor disputes and was instrumental to several complex commercial and civil litigation disputes. She advocates for her clients before the Small Claims Court and has assisted on proceedings before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Court of Appeal.

Laura’s involvement in law school included serving as a Caseworker for Pro Bono Students Canada and as Speaker for the Queen’s Society of Graduate and Professional Students.

Prior to law school, Laura earned an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Waterloo and graduated on the Dean’s Honours List.

Outside of the office, Laura enjoys reading, attending exhibitions at the Art Gallery of Ontario and is learning to golf.
